There will be a shelf behind the vanity from the top of the rim to the bottom of the medicine cabinet. Storage for various curling irons, and nuclear hair driers, and other feminine implements of destruction.

And up there will be a cabinet to store stuff, safely out of reach of everyone who will live in the house except me, so I will have the opportunity to be a hero several times a day when requested to retrieve frequently used items stored in there.
